lacey's first day of school

yes, finally lacey started school yesterday. yeah!!! i'm so excited. she has been bored for weeks now with lela being in school. every morning around 10:00 she asks if we can go get lela. now around 10:00, she will be her friends playing and having a good time instead of whining that she wants her sister. i have so much stuff i want/need to do now that everyone is gone. i honestly just wonder how much i will get done.

as you can tell there are no pictures from lacey's first day of school. why? i did try. these days everytime i pull my camera out she hides her face refusing to a have her picture made....oh well. when we got home i asked her about her day only to be told that her and Madeline were the only kids at school, everyone else was sick and they would be back next week. do you think that's her way of saying, "hey mom! don't ask me about my friends or who i played with until next week?" i just have to laugh. i will say that is one thing about our girls they don't ever divulge too much information...well not the stuff you want to know anyways.
