checking in...

thought i would check in with everyone. sorry i've been a little delinquent with my posting this week. i've been a little busy at the preschool with the fall consignment sale. we have a consignment sale twice a year - once in the fall and then again in the spring. it's definitely hard work but its very rewarding for the school, the church and the community. i feel very blessed to be such a group of hard working moms. but considering i was up there four out of five days, my week was pretty much shot before it even got going good.

lela's school celebrated grandparents' week this week. all the grandparents were invited to come have lunch with their grandchildren. it was pretty special i thought. i attended a few of the lunches making my pictures for the yearbook. one little girl had the pleasure of having her mother, grandfather and great grandmother all there. how cool was that - three generations of family!

i always thought the bigger the girls got the less busy i would be. boy, was i wrong! it seems everytime i turn around i've gotten myself into something else. next week i'll spend three
days at lela's school helping her teacher as well as the art teacher. today, we are all going to the sharpsburg festival to help the pta booth sell discount cards and spiritwear. i'm just hoping the rain holds off till where done this afternoon.
