spring break is...over?

talk about a fast week. i honestly can't believe that in nine weeks school with be over with and summer break will start. can someone please tell me where the time goes? this week has been pretty low key which in my opinion is sometimes needed to get the batteries recharged. we spent the night and gigi's, the girls went to the gram's and to finish the week off we headed to fernbank, yesterday.

not much had changed since we had been there last, other than the fact we caught an imax film and saw an exhibit on natural disasters. both of them were quite interesting and the girls seem to really enjoy them. i think it's because it was something they understood and have seen on tv.

today, we will be working in the garden and then later going to lacey's soccer game and taking lela to a spend the night party. kevin is going to build us another raised bed so that will give us two. i can't wait! last year we had a lot of luck with our garden, so this year we are trying for some different things and hopefully some good results. as right now, we are looking at two different varieties of tomatoes, okra, crookneck squash, zucchini, blueberries and cucumbers. i'm hoping we have more than enough room because i really would love to try and plant some lettuce. the girls want to plant green beans, but all i have found is seeds and i don't know if i'm that ambitious. i guess we'll wait and see.
