hey mom...meet my new friend

lela continues to tell me how much she loves nature camp. this afternoon i was informed that every july she wants to go. ok twist my arm, if you insist. one of the highlights at camp is getting their picture made with marigold. here is lela with marigold:


yes, marigold just happens to be an 11ft. albino burmese python that lives at cochran mill. as you can see our daughter is all smiles holding her new friend. i asked her if marigold was heavy and she said "mom, six people had to hold her up, what do think?" i think i can promise you i won't be touching that thing....ever!
